Martina and Lucy’s Deep Rest Workshop returns for each Full Moon. You’ll be exploring the practice of releasing through gentle movement with Restorative Yoga and be invited to receive subtle Reiki healing and an astrology inspired Yoga Nidra. This nourishing combo is guaranteed to send you into another dimension of relaxation! It's the perfect antidote to stress and a great way to reset and restore.
The slow and gentle stretching at the beginning will ease you to start dropping out of the mind and into the body. You’ll then move into the restorative practice, which includes longer held postures. The mixture of movement and stillness is a treat for your nervous system and will help to ease stress and anxiety held in the body and mind. To relax is to rest deeply and when we set aside time to truly rest and relax we let our system renew and recover from daily stresses and strains, we let the body & mind do what it needs to do to re-balance. Here we can find some inner stillness and connection.
As you let the body rest in stillness, you’ll receive Reiki healing intended to complement your relaxation experience while aligning any energetic imbalances. A Yoga Nidra follows with the theme of each month's Full Moon inviting the body and the mind to fully release and let the soul speak its deepest desires.
All you have to do is decide that you want to rest, release and receive.

Having originally trained in Hatha/Ashtanga, Lucy now practices and teaches in a much more embodied way, allowing space to drop out of the mind and into the body.
She uses a combination of Yoga Asana, somatic movement and breathwork to rebalance and calm the nervous system. These have been the practices that have been most profound in her own personal practice.
Lucy's style is soft, fluid and often breath led. There's no strict alignment, just you and your body, however, it needs to be in that moment.

Martina is the Creator of Yoga Time YAY! A place for yoga, cooking and healing practices for children, teens and families to inspire curiosity, creativity and connection.
She is a certified Family Yoga Teacher, a Yoga Nidra and EFT (Tapping) Facilitator, a Second Degree Reiki Practitioner and an Astrologer.
